Chris,

Many thanks for your kind words about Rush's Lancers, and I'm very pleased to hear that you're enjoying the book. It's no exaggeration when I tell you that I had twelve years of work and research into that project, and that new material still continues to surface. Fortunately, my publisher pretty much gave me carte blanche with photos and maps, which is one thing that I feel very strongly about. Most of the photos of members of the regiment have never been published previously, and that's one of the things I'm most proud of.

I'm off to Gettysburg tomorrow. I'm sorry I'm going to miss you there, but hope you have a great time.
